I would rather tell you the truth than take your case.
I am Ch. Bilal Rasheed. I trained as a lawyer, and I have spent the last decade as an education and immigration consultant. Since 2015 I have led Borders & Bridges Pvt Ltd from our Lahore office, and the company now works across five cities in Pakistan with more than fifty partner institutions.
The legal training is the part that matters most to the families who sit across from me. A visa application is a case. It has rules, evidence and a decision-maker who is looking for reasons to say no. I read a student file the way I would read a case file, which means the weak points get found and fixed by us first, rather than by an entry clearance officer later.
Over those years I have guided hundreds of students to universities in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia and across Europe. Some of them arrived with a refusal letter already in hand. Others arrived with no idea where to start. The work is the same either way: understand the person, be honest about what is realistic, then build the strongest file the facts allow.
I am also comfortable telling people no. If your profile does not support the plan you walked in with, you will hear that in the first meeting, free of charge, instead of six months and several payments later.
- Qualified lawyer, so your file is read the way a case file is read.
- ICEF-accredited education consultant and registered British Council agent.
- Leading Borders & Bridges since 2015, now across five cities in Pakistan.
- Hundreds of students placed in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and Europe.

My visa was refused. Can I apply again?
Yes, in most cases. What matters is exactly why the first application was refused, because reapplying without fixing that reason usually leads to a second refusal. Bring your refusal letter to the free consultation and you will get an honest view of whether a fresh application is realistic.
Read the full refusal guideIs the first consultation really free?
Yes. The first consultation costs nothing, whether it happens at our Lahore office, on WhatsApp or on a call. You will get a straight assessment of your profile and a realistic view of your options. If we do not think we can help you, we will say so rather than take you on.
What documents should I bring to the first meeting?
Bring your academic certificates and transcripts, your passport or CNIC, any English test result you already hold, and your refusal letter if you have applied before. If you do not have all of these yet, come anyway. The first meeting is about direction, not paperwork.
See every step of the processWhich countries do you handle?
The United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia and a range of European destinations, through more than fifty partner institutions. The right country depends on your grades, your budget and the career you want afterwards, so we discuss fit before we discuss applications.
Compare the four main destinationsHow long does the whole process take?
It varies by country and by intake. Admissions usually take a few weeks to a few months once your documents are ready, and visa processing times are set by each country, not by us. At the start of your case we give you the current published timelines for your destination so you can plan around real dates.
When is the Lahore office open?
The Lahore office is open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm Pakistan time, and is closed on Sunday. It is on Shaukat Khanum Hospital Road near UCP, in GCP Housing Society. You can also send a WhatsApp message outside those hours.
Are you a registered immigration adviser in the UK, Canada or Australia?
Ch. Bilal Rasheed is a qualified lawyer in Pakistan and an ICEF-accredited education consultant, and Borders & Bridges is a registered British Council agent. We are education and study-abroad consultants. We are not registered with the UK OISC, the CICC in Canada or MARA in Australia, and we do not present ourselves as regulated advisers in those jurisdictions.
